Paddle the safest, most sheltered area along the Kaiteriteri coastline. See lots of good stuff in a small area: including islands, caves, golden sandy beaches and of course, Split Apple Rock. Loved by families and the cruiser in all of us since the nineties. Two hours on the water of quality guided kayaking.
After your Split Apple Classic adventure, board the Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle for a scenic cruise stopping at Adele Island briefly to visit the Seals, past golden sand beaches before arriving at Anchorage. Then walk self-guided around the Pitt Head and Te Pukatea Bay Loop track (1.5hours) where you will get some amazing panoramic views from the lookout or walk into the hills to experience the cool cascade of Cleopatras Pool (1.75 hours). Catch the Sea Shuttle back to Kaiteriteri. This tour is a cruiser but has it all.

Your Sea Kayaking:
This tour covers the area between Kaiteriteri to the south and Split Apple Rock in the north. It is a relatively small area with lots of interesting nooks and crannies to explore. This makes it an ideal tour for the first timer. The trip starts with a safety briefing, with full instruction to make
kayaking as simple as possible – even for first timers.
Tides play a big part in the tour itinerary. As these change with each day then so does our tour. After a break for swimming, relaxing or exploring the beach we set off for Ngaio Island on the homeward journey. Back to Kaiteriteri at 11:45am
– This hike and paddle adventure is particularly suitable for families and small groups.
